Google’s New AI Search Is Here

Google I/O 2025 came with some huge announcements.

You’ve probably noticed it by now. Search results look different. Way different.

Google just rolled out  AI Overviews = instant, AI-generated summaries right at the top of the page

It’s one of the biggest shifts in how people find information since Google was created.

And despite all the negative press, it’s good for SEO.

  2. Create Content Built for AI Summarization Think clarity over fluff. Short sentences, strong structure, and clear answers. The AI needs to quickly grasp your point, and when it does, it will put your site above thousands of others.
  3. Keep the Human Touch Google’s quality reviewers still prioritize human-driven, helpful content. So even if you use AI tools to assist, make sure your content reflects real thought, personality, and insight. That’s what separates your site from the generic AI noise that’s flooding websites and being penalized by Google’s algorithm.
  4. Rethink What “Winning” Looks Like in Search Clicks aren’t the only metric anymore. Your content appearing in an AI Overview means the user may not even click, but they’ll still see your brand, your site, or your product.
