Most brands still treat organic social like it’s optional.

A handful of posts when motivation hits. A recycled ad creative here or there.

Maybe a holiday graphic from time to time.

But here’s what’s actually happening:

👉 Social is now the first place people go to  judge you.

Not Google. Not your sales materials. Not even your website.

They’re opening Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.

And asking:

Does this brand feel legit?

If the answer is unclear or worse, negative.

❌ You don’t get the curiosity

❌ You don’t get the click

❌ You don’t get the $

Relatable > Polish

Consistent > Unpredictable

Human > Branded

I’m not saying you need to become a meme account.

But you  should stop hiding behind corporate jargon and actually connect with people.


The Social Strategy That Works in 2025

  1. Respond fast​ People expect replies within 24 hours. Jump on engagement as fast as possible. ​
  2. Show your human side​ People buy from people, not logos. Be human and express the uniqueness of the people behind the brand. ​
  3. Give behind-the-scenes​ It creates familiarity and transparency. Nothing feels more authentic than a peek behind the curtain of your world. ​
  4. Create for your current customers​ Don’t optimize based on the algorithm. Create content that your existing customers would love. ​
  5. Turn employees into advocates​ Content posted by staff gets reshared 25x more than brand page posts. ​
  6. Use your feed like a brand trailer​ New visitors should know what you do (and why you’re worth trusting) in 30 seconds or less.
