While their purpose-driven home fragrance and clean living products resonated deeply with their core audience of busy homemakers, Mavwicks struggled to replicate their TikTok magic across other channels. Our Meta advertising strategy underwent an evolution focused on driving contribution margin rather than top-line revenue, addressing attribution challenges that emerged as Mavwicks expanded beyond their original TikTok success. Initial campaigns were over-attributing ROAS and taking credit for repeat purchases that originated from other channels, requiring a sophisticated approach to media buying that prioritized true profitability over vanity metrics.

We overhauled the creative and targeting strategy by introducing diverse UGC creators who could authentically showcase Mavwicks products in real-world settings, moving beyond the founder-led content that dominated their early TikTok success. This creator diversification allowed us to test different lifestyle contexts, home aesthetics, and use cases while maintaining the authentic, non-promotional feel that resonated with Meta's algorithm and user behavior.

The campaign structure was redesigned around product-level separation, allowing us to optimize for the specific contribution margins of individual SKUs rather than treating all products equally. The goal was never to abandon Mavwicks’ original success platform, but to enhance it. Our approach centered on preserving the organic, community-driven content that went viral before while strategically introducing conversion-focused elements. Content strategy balanced UGC-style unboxings, "clean with me" routines, and lifestyle demonstrations with strategic product placement and clear calls-to-action. We developed content pillars around scent discovery, home transformation moments, and daily rituals that felt natural to the platform.

TikTok transformed from their primary revenue driver accounting for 97% of total sales into their top-converting DTC traffic source with an exceptional 7.5× ROAS, while the platform's share shifted to a more balanced 40% of total revenue.

This strategic shift didn't represent a decline in TikTok performance, rather, total revenue volume from TikTok actually increased as the brand scaled exponentially across multiple channels. The platform now drives higher absolute revenue than ever before while enabling Mavwicks to build a more resilient, diversified business model that isn't dependent on a single traffic source.
